3pm report: Today I reached out to a few nurses who were kind enough to reach out to me on personal cell phones to either face time with dad or to send me images. Just got this response from Ellen, a telemetry nurse:

“Omg thank you sooooo very much . It’s me Ellen . You have made my WHOLE DAY! We have been talking about your Dad this week and wondering how he is doing . I’m off today but can’t wait to go back tomorrow to tell everyone . That’s been a hard thing for us in the ICU - not knowing how our patients are when they are getting better and being discharged .

I was with your Dad when he was first admitted. He is a great guy ! I helped him to the bathroom to brush his teeth etc . He really appreciated the lip balm you sent ! Good looking out for your Daddy .

He is truly truly a success story and a fighter . He has much to fight for . Please please please tell him GH Tele and ICU will be doing the happy dance for him tomorrow . Much love and the sincerest of thank yous for all your kindness to us .
