Selfie from Dad in a chair this morning.
12.30pm report: Just heard from Helen, a social worker at Greenwich Hospital and after yesterday PT evaluation, they feel that they are almost ready to discharge dad to a short term rehab facility. Not being able to yet take any steps, he can sit and stand with a walker - and after being bedridden for 3 weeks, this is totally understandable. After the results come back from his current COVID-19 test, they will be able to determine which facility might be right for him.
4.00pm report: Just heard from Katrina, dads nurse for the day.. I don’t want to get too ahead of myself - but she did say that his vitals are looking ‘fabulous’ - He has no oxygen, no fever, no internal bleeding and his blood pressure and heart rate and kidneys are stable. She said it seems as if his respiratory is 100% back to normal. We are waiting for results from todays COVID-19 test, as i mentioned earlier that will point him int he right direction for a short term rehab facility. Oh and dad is loving his window view.
